Estimated delivery 10/26. Haus No. 88 Stone & Ink, our Haus set, is the most versatile colorway we offer. Designed in classic black and white, it layers effortlessly into any space, any season, and any hosting style. Timeless, chic, and quietly cool, this is the set you’ll reach for again and again.

Stone & Ink is the foundation of the Haus of Tiles world. We will be releasing collector pieces and limited-edition accents designed to coordinate seamlessly with this set, making it the perfect place to begin and build your collection over time.

The number 88 was chosen with intention. In Mahjong culture, eight is considered the luckiest number, symbolizing fortune, prosperity, and good energy. Doubled, it represents abundance and longevity, making it the perfect namesake for a set designed to be played often, shared widely, and loved for years to come.

You’ll find our compass star on every piece, a nod to the four winds of Mahjong and the many directions life pulls us. Intuitive for beginners and seasoned players alike, each set stays true to the iconic language of Mahjong, reimagined through a designer lens.

Each tile set arrives with a Haus of Tiles tile storage bag, designed to keep your tiles protected and beautifully stored between games.

Our tiles are custom engraved and painted using premium imported inks. Each design is hand-painted or precision-painted using specialized machinery operated by skilled artisans. Machine painting is not fully automated. It requires expert setup, calibration, and oversight to ensure precise application of color within the engraving. Our tiles are not UV printed or UV painted.

As with all handcrafted products, slight variations in color and size may occur between production runs. Colors may also appear differently depending on lighting conditions, surrounding colors, and your display screen.
